    I dont normally post on here much, but I just wanted to send warm wishes your way. My DH and I got married last sept. and 11 days before your wedding day, DH's father died of a heart attack. Obviously it was completely unexpected. I remember how much stress I was under prior to the wedding, then having my soon-to-be father in-law pay away was over whelming. Although right now your role is to be the strong/supportive FI, remember that you need to grieve as well!

    As far as the wedding goes, I remembed us trying decided if we should continue with our wedding or wait until later. I left FI decided and he felt that continuing as planned would make his father happy. After a week and a half of tears and sadness, our wedding was just what we needed. I think it really puts things in perspective. We get so caught up in the wedding details, that we forget the true importance of your wedding day.

    I'm glad that you guys are back and getting back into the routine of things. Hope your first days back weren't too bad!

    The wedding will be amazing and it will be nice to have family together like you said.

    Everythign will work out. :)
