Wedding Ceremony Venue

Hi!

I am a budget bride and I am having a reception at a community center in Reston, VA (hopefully).

I am having a hard time finding anywhere that will allow me to do the ceremony only, everywhere seems to require a reception (which I understand, b/c it's where the money is).

Any suggestions?

I am not opposed to a church but my Uncle is Reverend so I would have to find a place that would allow him to perform the ceremony (his church is out b/c the roof collapsed).

Have you considered having the ceremony at the community center? Having the ceremony and reception in one place tends to be the least expensive option, as well as the most convenient for guests.

Well it turns out the Reston Venue won't let me book this far out (5 months in advance) which doesn't work for us. Now I am back to square one and striking out. All venues are so expensive!

Is Annandale too far away? I moved here to be w/ my FI, so I'm not terribly familiar yet with the area.

If it's not too far away, I love the look of this cute historic chapel the parks system rents out:

EDIT: it's $525 for 3 hours for Fairfax country residents, I'm not sure if that's in your budget or over it.
