I just fell in love with this cape (http://www.princessbridetiaras.com/Bridal_Cape/700.php), but my mom keeps saying I won't need it. I don't want to freeze going from the car to site. 

Is it worth getting?

    I guess it depends on your budget. It is an absolutely beautiful cape, but I think perhaps $249 could be spent on something that will be seen more and have more impact.

    You could probably make one like it for $50.

    I agree, capes are easy to make.  And I love the look of them, I'd say, go for it!  But I would get quotes from local dress makers to compare.
