Average Cost of Bouquet?

Hello ladies,

I am wondering how much your bouquet cost/how much will your bouquet cost? I am thinking about 2 dozen open deep red roses if this helps on guessing price

I just have no idea how much that may cost

Hmmm...good question.  My florist is great - I can email her a picture and ask her how much to make it.  Sadly the bouquet I am dying for is huge mound of deep purple calla lillies and that's $250.  I've gone through a few ideas for my girls, but actually found an option that I love and is around $25.  Can't beat that!

It's so hard to guess because I would think they could buy the roses for maybe $30 and so your bouquet should be less than a $100.  I could be way off though.

BTW, I love the look of the deep red rose bouquets.  Nice choice!

I'm getting my flowers from Thom's Florist in Biddeford. I couldn't believe how reasonable he is. My bouquet is sunflowers with a mix of roses, I believe Eden roses. And it's $50. I've heard great things about him from other customers too.

I'm getting a hand-tied bouquet of lavender roses, green hydrangea, green hypericum berries, and limonium and my florist quoted me $125. My wedding is in September when hydrangeas are in season too.

Roses usually go for $4 plus a stem, depending on what time of year you are getting married. For two dozen roses in a bouquet, you are probably looking at between $100 and $150 depedending on where you go.

I am having a bouquet of sunflowers, hypericum berries, and viking palms, and mine is $60.  My BM's are going to be having a smaller version of my bouquet and they are $25 each.  I'm getting my flowers from Davis Florist in Rumford.

I had an amazing bouquet of mango flame calla lilies, red tipped roses, red rose, hypericum berries, yellow mums, and orange mums.  It was a fairly large bouquet and it was about $75.  My girls had smaller versions of mine and those were about $35 each.  I wasn't going to do calla lilies because I thought they were really expensive but my florist said they were really only about $.50 more per stem than roses... I used bouquets by heather in Gorham.  She was WONDERFUL.

I didn't realize I could do my bouquets so inexpensively.  I was going to DIY but I think it was going to cost me around $100 or so anyways for me and my girls.  I might as well pay someone to do mine plus 3 others.  No boutoneirres or corsages and very simple bouquets.  Sweet, take that one off my plate.  I contacted Heather and I'll be contacting Thom in Biddo.

Great thread!! Thanks for the info gals.
