When is too cold?

Ladies,

I am getting married next weekend in a morning ceremony (1130).  I am trying to figure out what is too cold to keep it outside...should there be a cut off temp...for example if its only a high of 60 should I say...keep it inside?

Thoughts??

I had this problem last October, H and I really wanted to get married outside, and the beginning of the week was great, then it started getting colder and colder. We ended up moving inside because it snowed! But I didn't make the call until Thrusday (for a friday wedding). We still did pictures outside (I figured the bridal party were our close friend and family, they could suck it up for a few pictures) :)

Can you wait a bit longer or does the venue want to know now? If it's in the 60s but it's sunny that might not be so bad. If it's in the 60s and cloudy/windy I'd probably go inside.

I agree- it's a judgement call that you should be able to make the day-of or the day before. And everyone's idea of good weather is different... so I'd say whatever feels comfortable for you!

John and Jen were pretty accomodating. I think I made my decision Thursday afternoon just before the rehearsal. Also they do a great job of setting up the chairs and whatnot so it feels like there is a seperation between the ceremony and the reception. Are you using the Crystal Room or the Laurel Room?

I would say if it's sunny and in the 60's you should be fine. This weekend feels cold to the bone I think because of the drizzle :0(

Just my $0.02, I'd say anything below 60 or 65 is too cold to have an outdoor ceremony.

Yeah. I would say 60 or 65, too. 65 if it's breezy and if it's 60 and sunny without any wind then that's ok. But 60 and breezey can be very chilly.
