On Feb 6 Gameday, Collins is restricted to southbound only from Randol Mill to Division St.

North Main St (between Sundance Square to 9th St.) Closed Feb 6 ONLY

4th St (Between Throckmorton and Commerce) Closed Jan 26 thru Feb 8

Main St (Between 3rd and 5th) Closed Jan 25 thru Feb 8

Houston St (Between 5th and 3rd) Closed Jan 30 thru Feb 7
Houston St (Between 3rd and W.Belknap) Closed Feb 6 ONLY

Houston St (Between 14th and 9th) Closed Jan 31 thru Feb 7 (Intermittent)

12th, 14th & 15th Sts (Omni Hotel & Convention Center area) Closed Jan 31 thru Feb 7 (Intermittent)

IMPORTANT FACTS:
The City of Arlington will use a Private Firm “Lone Star Coaches” to transport visitors between the Stadium and local hotels & venues including the Trinity Station.
Approximately 1,000 buses, 700 limos and 800 Shuttles will assist visitors in navigating their way to events and venues; including special routes between Arlington area and Trinity station.
DART and TRE will offer enhanced service and extended hours during Super Bowl Week to ensure the anticipated 150,000 visitors have access to mass transit. Each will add buses, trains and vans to meet the current needs of our citizen commuters while adding new routes for visitors. With this in mind, please remember that all Freeways and roads to venues throughout the area will be impacted by buses, vans and multiple passenger vehicles. (Particularly around the Dallas Convention Center, Fair Park and Cowboys Stadium for NFL Experience, Stadium Tours and nightly Fan Rally/Parties at Fair Park.

Local Restaurants and Shopping Malls will also have increased traffic during this time.

    We have to go downtown FTW Saturday the 5th and we are also going to have to find somewhere to eat around there that night!  FUN STUFF

    Ditto Sarah! I'm SO glad we're going no where near any of that mumbo jumbo. We have a SB party to go to that night, but it's in Denton/Little Elm. So way out of the way of traffic. This won't effect me any, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to share in case it would affect someone else :)

    I'm going to dig a hole in my back yard and crawl into it until its over.

    OR... maybe I'll stock up on can goods and bottled water and pretend an ice storm is coming and just not leave the house. :)

    I live in Alrington!! I'm going to Houston this weekend for sure now! I can't believe they are screwing us over like this!!! I'm super pissed!

    This is probably a dumb question, but why are they blocking downtown FW a week before the game? I heard some players are staying at hotels there ... are they really in town a week beforehand?

    That darn stadium is between both of my daughter's houses and my best friend.  I'll be holed up that day also.  Several times when my daughter had wedding related appointments I was going to...the darn game traffic interferred!
