Outdoor Reception for Early October

We're having a destination wedding in late September and are going to have an at-home reception afterwards when we get back from the honeymoon. Any ideas for hudson valley or western CT? Possibly a park or country club or outdoor space where we can set up a tent and have a more informal wedding reception for guests, but on a cheaper budget! <$50pp. Suggestsions?

    How about Bear Mountain? They have a building (which will never be finished for weddings inside, they're taking forever), but there's plenty of places that you could host something outside. The leaves are also really nice there that time of year.

    try colonial terrace.  they have lots of outdoor space and very affordable.

    Most town parks have pavillions for rent. I know that Newtown rents theirs, I think the whole think was like 250 for an afternoon, but then I moved out 5 ago, but it cant be too much more than that. Then you can BBQ under the pavillion
