I wanted to share a funny story with you ladies.
The other night I spent time with some of my extended family that I don't see often, and chatting with my cousins.
They are passing around all kinds of congratulations (along with myself, my brother and a cousin are all getting married this year!), when one asks me if I explained to my brother that as the oldest he wasn't allowed to get married before me?
I'm like - NO! Of course not! My brother getting married is a BIG deal and I couldn't be happier for them!
She goes on, in a mock catty voice, that as the oldest grand-daughter I have that right... and as I'm listening to her in horror - it turns out she is quoting a letter that I had written to her when she and I were both about to get married back in the early 90's! !
OMG! What a biotch I was!!!???!!!! I truly do not remember writing that to her, and of course immediately begged her forgiveness (and then promptly blamed it on pregnancy hormones and family stress during my wedding planning!).
Thankfully we can laugh about it now - but good grief!
I was a Bridezilla before being a Bridezilla got you on TV... I'm always way before my time.
