Lusting for Shoes...

You have inspired me to shop for shoes.  Never mind the fact that I have no dress, no idea what kind of dress I might wear even.  LOL!!  I don't know what color dress OR shoes I might eventually purchase.  But, seeing all of the shoes you have chosen, I'm inspired.

Here are my first takes at satisfying my "shoe lust" ...

These looks SO cool and I think they'd be very comfortable.  I had knee surgery so I need a low- to medium-heel and these are great.  Plus, they come in fuschia (sp?), cobalt blue (to die for), and black.

Lust is served with these!!  Heels are likely too high but I can dream, can't I??

These are completely out of the question, waaaaaaaaay too high, but I DO love them.  *sigh*

  • Nice picks. Stuart Weitzman shoes are soooo comfy, so they'd be kind to your knees.
  • I bought my shoes before I found my dress i was just soo in LOVE with them...and now that I have my dress I still Love my shoes!! =)

Yeah, I'm pretty picky about shoes.  There is nothing more miserable than hurting feet and knees.  I tend to stick with Donald Pliner, Paul Green, Via Spiga (sometimes).  I had a great pair of Nicole Miller sandals, similar to the 3rd pair of Stuart Weitzmans, but have pretty much trashed them.  Shoe lust, indeed!

I hear you! I've had four knee surgeries, the most recent being a complete restruction in December and I have to be careful about what shoes I pick. My PT recommends something with a platform (i.e. "hidden" platform for the ball of the foot) with a little bit of a thicker heel. I bought silver sparkly platform peep toes from David's Bridal that are incredibly comfortable and don't bother my knee at all. Good luck!

FOUR knee surgeries??  Bless your heart!  ... and your knee.  Ouch!  I'll try to remember the hidden platform.  Thanks for that suggestion.
