DOC?

Do any of you have DOC recommendations?  I am very interesting in hiring one for my wedding but don't know where to start.

Thank you!

Are you sure you need one?  Make a list of what you need the DOC to do and then check with your reception venue as to what they take care of.
At most venues a DOC isn't really necessary because your consultant takes care of everything.
If it was a blank space where everything had to be brought in, set up, decorated and taken down, I think the DOC is neccessary but for a regular catering hall, I don't think it's worth it.

We have Hudson Valley Ceremonies for a Coordinator of Ceremonies only. We already have them for an officiant and you get $50 off for that. So we have Sage from there for COC because it's an outdoor event and she will run all of that stuff and do our rehearsal for us as well.

Thanks for the suggestions!  I'm not 100% sure I need one but there is a fair amount of day-of coordinating that needs to take place and I know that with my personality I'm going to take all those issues on myself.  I think it would be nice to have someone that I know can just handle it though so I don't have to orgaize/coordinate everything for this one day.

It will probably depend on the price though.

    Thanks again!

I'm using Lauren Paige for full coordinating and she is great.  Extremely organized and worth every penny and more.  She is very conscientious about her work.
