I finally bought my wedding shoes. I'd been stressing big time because i felt like it was silly to spend more than $65 on a pair of white shoes, but I couldn't find a pair of reusable shoes in any colors I liked. I walked into Mardens the other day and there they were. A pair of white peep toe vintage-look white steve madden heels for $10. I freaking love Mardens.

Speaking of Mardens, the tulle there is $.59 a yard. Does anyone know where I can get that, or organza for super cheap? I need a butt load of it. Like, 250-300 yards. It's only $.27 a yard on this website http://www.giftsintl-us.com/products.php?cat=58 with free shipping on orders over $35, but I've never heard of this website. Has anyone heard anything, good or bad about them?

Also, I would love to see everyone's hair inspiration and makeup inspiration photos. I'm a bit hair obsessed these days since I'm doing my trials next week.

    Mardens can be a good store, my mom has gotten some nice stuff there for a steal, I'm a bit intimidated by the Marden's lady myself... 

    As for tulle, I spent about 99 cents/ yard for mine from Joann's. I know I could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere, but it was for my veil, and I only needed to yards. Have you looked at buying bolts of tulle from Michael's? You could use one of their 40% off coupons? I would definitely check to make sure any website you purchase from is certified by the BBB. 

    As for hair, I posted pictures above this post of my hair/make-up trial :D This was my inspiration picture:

    No idea about the tulle.  Have you checked a Walmart that has a big craft section?

    My hair trial is tomorrow...these are the pictures I'm bringing:

    I like the top braid/head band part of this one, but not the back.


    I really like this one too and might do this instead of the braid.  Love the back on this one!
