My New Drinking Game

If you have a Pinterest account, go and look in their wedding section.

Take a shot when:
- You see someone planning their "One Day My Prince Will Come" or any version of "I'm not actually engaged or with someone but still planning" wedding
- A gigantic engagement ring that ordinary people could never afford ("maybe someday!")
- Burlap and lace.
- Anything "tiffany blue"
- Pins with links to "a maid or honor or bridesmaid's duties"
- the words "rustic" or "ombre"
- Anything abbreviated unnecessarily (i.e. "adorbs!" or "totes!" or my personal favor "hilar!")
- Anyone planning for their fairytale

I think I'm judgmental and a bit cynical. But I'm also an alcoholic so I think this may be my new "Saturday night at home" game.

    Next Saturday night I'm home by myself drinking wine, I'll try to remember this. Though some people saying drinking alone makes you an alcoholic (I don't agree. I'll drink my wine and I'll enjoy it!), I guess drinking alone playing, a drinking by yourself would make it doubly so? :P

    I don't think its alone if there's a pet in the house.... I regularly drink with my cat! ;-)

    The best drinking game that I've ever played (Which also happens to be one that I invented myself a few months ago) was the night after the Presidential Election. I logged into FB for the first time since a winner was declared, and took a shot every time somebody in my news feed threatened to move to Canada. Even with a decent chunk of my FB friends either not commenting on the election at all, or being happy with the outcome, I was still blitzed in about 20 minutes.

    Sadly, this game can only be played once every 4 years Cry

    But for another "Pinterest" drinking game, a good one would be to select the "Geek" category and take a shot whenever Dr. Who pops up, lol

    With so many people planning imaginary weddings, you would think they would be more original!

    Update: My fMIL has started her own Pinterest account, complete with her own wedding board. She's been married for about 20 years. Her only daughter is married. So maybe she's planning ideas to help with mine?

    HORROR OF HORRORS it's all mason jars, burlap and lace. Swear to God. Every time I see it I just laugh and laugh and laugh.
