Invitations- so upset :(

I am so upset! We sent out our invitations (which I am in love with!) on Saturday. I just heard from my mom that her's was trashed and from one of my friend's that her's was so badly destroyed it was taped up and it was missing the response card!!!

What am I going to do if they're all like that? :(

Yikes, really?   Do you have a wedding website?  If not, i would consider making one (mywedding.com is very simple to use) and pass the link around to people you invited in case something is wrong with their invitations as well.

That is heartbreaking. I'm a graphic designer, and the invitations are important to me, so I feel for you. If worst comes to worse, do you have a pdf of the design that you could email out, or get the designer to modify it for email?  At least that way you could send it out with a note saying something like "just in case my invite didn't reach you..." and people could still get the gyst of the design.

wow I can't even imagine how you feel right now!! we just sent ours out  too and I hope nothing like that happens...

I can't understand how that would actually happen though! I mean, I know that things aren't always perfect and once in a while things get messed up in processing- but two?? I might talk to the postmaster at the post office that you sent it from...I mean- if your invitations are getting torn and missing pieces, think about if it was paperwork with sensitive information...Obvi something went wrong somewhere and they need to address it....

Were they dimensional? Hand canceled? I've heard many horror stories about some invitations and cards getting destroyed because they weren't hand canceled.

The PP who mentioned if you have a PDF version of your invitation had a great idea.
