Poll- Which would you prefer

Hi ladies.  I have been going back and forth on BM gifts.  I have put a poll for you to tell me what your like.  The Jewelry Rolls are already in my possession and monogramed so I cant return them, which is why it is a choice for each one. I gave the girls the option on having hair and makeup done. They all chose hair which is what my original idea. Any other ideas would be great.

I voted for hair paid for, which is nice, but I still would prefer more of a gift as a bridesmaid --  it is nice to not have to pay for hair, but I don't see how making me look pretty in your wedding photos is a gift for me really.

But spa candles and Starbucks gift cards are kind of generic -- they're kind of like shower prizes to me.  (I guess it depends on the candles though?  And I hate Starbucks, but I see Starbucks gift cards as something you give people you don't know).  Could you think of something more personalized to their tastes or a little more special?

Picture frame with photo is a nice idea, and can be done very cheaply -- so that could be done in addition to hair and makeup I would think?  I would shy away from any frame that says "Bridesmaid" or anything on it though if that isn't the girls' style.  Again, I think presents are more sincere when they aren't associated with your wedding.

I voted for jewelry role, frame, and gc. I think this one was the most personal of all the options. I like the jewelry role as a gift and I would definitely use it. But I would also like something from the day as well.

Why not get them all something different that they each like? Their gifts don't need to be identical.

Thanks ladies... What should the frames say? I was thinking "Friends" or having a different quote on each?  I dont like Bridesmaids either.

If you already mentioned the hair I think you have to do that.   Do the jewelry roll with a piece of jewelry in it and the hair.  Sunshine and Daydreams in Point Pleasant has a great selection of jewelry for Bridesmaids.

They have these cute frames at michaels that are plain frames but then they sell these charms that have magnets that adhere to them.  They have roses, friends, family, etc.  They are really cute.

I don't think the frames need to say anything. I'd check out Target- their frames are always really unique. I'd get them to match your BM's style, not yours.

    Whats a jewelry roll?

I wouldn't want want that said BM on it. I think the frames that ffbride mentioned could potentially be cute. But I would have to see what the magnets looked like and see if they were cheesy or not. I think it all depends on your BM taste. Some may just want a frame that would go with their decor.

Everyone has candles and frames etc.  Weddings are expensive for bridesmaids and paying to get their hair done is very much appreciated

since were having a destination wedding, my BM gifts are gonna be in a tote bag with their name(nothing will say bridesmaid except for 1 tank top because i want them to be able to use it all again)
    the bag will include~
-their hair accessory which will be a flower,
-their jewlery and a jewlery roll
-black flipflops that say thank you on them
    -luggage tags
-and im paying for their makeup, not sure about their hair yet but maybe

Oh, those are pretty. It sounded funny, ha. What a weird name. But I think that's a nice idea.

IMHO, I think paying for hair is the best gift there is.  I am buying my girls their dresses which are quite expensive, and I know they are greatful because they don't have a lot of money to spend.  I want them in my wedding so I want it to be as easy as it can be for them.  I feel like just getting them a gift does nothing for the fact that they would have to spend hundreds of dollars just to be in my wedding.

Edit: It's a great gift if they want to get their hair done, it's different if they are being "forced" to do it.  But in this case, if they want to get their hair done, you're actually paying for something they want, therefore, it's a gift :)

I say Jewerly roll, Hair paid and a small Starbucks gift card.  I'm doing a "spa day" and H and M for my girls but I also got them inexpensive earrings and a picture frame so that they have something to open which is always fun.
