Modern/Minimalist wedding venue?

Hey everyone. My fiance and I both love the modern/minimalist look and we really want our wedding to reflect it. We're also interested in a smaller wedding (80-100 guests) and we'd prefer the ceremony and reception to be at the same place. Does anyone have any recommendations on venues that have a classy, clean, modern look to it in either NJ or NY? I can't believe how hard it is to find what we're looking for. The few places that we kind of liked needed a minimum of 150 guests which won't work for us. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I second the Stone House... It was one of our favorites. How about the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton? It's very minimalistic. The website doesnt do it justice... If you google "wedding photography grounds for sculpture" you'll find a bunch of recent blogs.

The Stone House is VERY nice! I'm not sure how they are for a wedding, but my experience there is mostly attending corporate events. The service was TERRIBLE, but the food was pretty good. Half the tables never got coffee or cake. However it is a very cool and nice looking venue. Maybe the service was bad because the people who organized it gave unclear instructions. As with any venue, you need to look at the reviews too.

Good luck finding the perfect place! I'm sure you will : )
