Italian favors

My fiance and I were enaged in Rome. We wanted to have some kind of favor that represented the Vatican or something Rome inspired. Any ideas/thoughts/suggestions?!? thanks!

Nothing is more traditionally Italian than Jordan Almonds.  Amaratto cookies would be good, as would pizzelle cookies, or anise toast.

I agree that jordan almonds (called confetti) is the most Italian favor out there. They go in little bags and it's tradition to not eat them (FI's parents still have theirs from their wedding). We're doing them as one of our favors.

If you'd really like to incorporate Rome, why not have a few Roman details in your wedding? Like, have Roman-inspired decor at your reception (white pillars, lots of greenery and white flowers, etc).

Why not an italian dessert: cannoli's for example.

I agree with the almonds, biscotti and cannolis. You Italian ices? In a couple different flavors.

You could have a cookie printed with a picture of a Italian inspired picture (maybe you took some on your trip of yourselves in front of a landmark.
I did something similar for my engagement announcements.

I got mine at this site:

I had mine infused with lemon and they tasted so good and everyone is still talking about them! They do any customized color, theme or picture.

    Just an idea.
    Have fun planning!

My FI is Italian, we are doing the 5 Jordan Almonds wrapped in tulle and will be attaching them to our bomboniere (undecided still) we are thinking wine that we have made, but his cousins have done things from platters, to espresso cups... check out...
