reception sites

does anyone know of an outdoor reception site that you can have tents and sit down service for 100 that is reasonable

    If you're looking for something downtown, there's a tent right behind the aquarium on the water that's rented out through the aquarium. And it's not a tent, but the Pier V hotel has a ballroom that opens up to a very large outdoor patio right on the water and they typically do their ceremonies outside in a little park-like area.

    I'm know there are some nice outdoor sites further from the city, especially if you want more of a garden feel, but I'm not familiar with those.

    Swan Harbour in Havre de Grace is a tent as well.

    My friend had a wedding at Waverly Mansion in Ellicott City.  She had the ceremony and reception outside with the reception tented on a patio.  It's owned and run by the state, so it is very affordable.  Like, under $1000 affordable.  You have to rent table and chairs, etc. but they do have recommended vendors that cut you a deal for working with Waverly Mansion.

    My friend's wedding was beautiful and the location was great and very easy to get to.
