Photos in Grayslake

Any suggestions of scenic places in the Grayslake area for pitures???

I am not from the area but getting married there. I have no clue of the area so any suggestions would help!!

    Depending on how much time you have, and what area of Grayslake you are in, the Lakewood Forest Preserve in Wauconda has some pretty areas.  The campus of the College of Lake County has some pretty grounds, and Brae Loch Country Club is there as well.  Independence Grove in Libertyville is a short drive, and the town of Long Grove has lots of scenic areas and backdrops.  The Grayslake area has many small lakes, and you are near Bangs Lake in Wauconda.  In the town of Lake Zurich, they have a cobblestoned promenade area that surrounds the lake that makes a gorgeous backdrop as well.  My daughter had many pictures taken there and they came out amazing!

    ETA:  If you post this on the Chicago boards, you may get more responses than on this board.
