Help! I need a tan!

Okay, so I am so pasty and pale it is ridiculous. I can't take it anymore. I do not want to go tanning, but I am looking for either spray tan or airbursh tips/suggestions. I have never done either. I literally haven't been tan since like 05. Haha:)

So, is one better than the other? Any tips? Any suggestions of where I should go? I was thinking I would try it now and then maybe a few more times before the wedding. I just don't want to look orange. I am really pale so I need something subtle.

Help! TIA!

I have gotten airbrush tanned at the Benefit Beauty Boutique on Armitage/halsted and it is great! I have never had as good of luck with the spray tanning machines -- too uneven and splotchy, but the airbrushing was great! And they are great about only going as dark as you want, so in the winter you don't look crazy tan all of a sudden.

Just make sure you shave and exfoliate the day of the appointment and apply good moisturizer, concentrating on your knees, elbows, etc. after your shower. And don't put on white clothing immediately afterwards, because it might turn a little brown. Definitely try it out before the wedding to see if it works for you!

I haven't done it yet but plan to before my wedding. HTH!

I recommend the airbrush tan at Blo Salon.  It's located in Lincoln Park near Halsted & Armitage.  I tried out several places months before my wedding and the spray I received at Blo was the only place I didn't feel that I looked orange.  I tried the Nordstrom Spa on Michigan Ave and Celebrity Couture tan where they come to your house and set us a spray tan tent, but I felt I was orange at both those places.  Like I said Blo Salon is worth checking out!

I really like Spacio on Halsted.  It might be a little pricey (I think $55-60), but it's worth it.  They can even do contouring if you want a subtle toned look.  I've used the mystic & mist-on booths and both were never perfect.  Having a person airbrush you is only way to get a perfect tan.

I also do self tanning at home with Diana B. 60 second miracle tan.  I've only found it at luckyscent.com.  It's $60 a bottle, but I can get at least 5-6 full body applications out of it.  You can usually find coupon codes online to get free shipping or a discount.  This is the best at home self-tanner that I've ever tried.  You put it on in the shower with gloves, run it in, then wash it off.  No streaks, smells, or rubbing off on clothes.  I've been trying different self tanners for years to find the perfect one.  Believe me, this is the best!

    I hope this helps!
