  I just had my first fitting with Louise a couple of weeks ago, LOVE her! How noticeable are the blue dots when you aren't up close pinning the dress? If they aren't in very noticeable areas, or not obvious to most people at a normal distance from the dress I might be tempted to just leave it as is. If it is really expensive as you said, do you think it is worth the extra money?

  Well the dots are pretty small so no nobody would probably notice unless pointed out. But we also noticed a couple faint beige spots too:( I asked the girl I bought it from about it and she assured me nothing was spilled on it, which again obviously I didn't notice it before nobody else probably would either, still not sure what it is though. So idk, I think I'll just see what the lady will charge and go from there, so we'll see. Oh almost forgot, I poked myself with a pin by accident, did not know I was bleeding, and yep put my hand on my hip and got a little blood on it, Louise wiped it off with a white wet cloth and pretty much got it out. So yeah definitely didn't anticipate all that but if it's under $100 I'll probably do it.

  I'd go with what Louise says.  She's fantastic - I used her for my alterations.  The place where I brougth my dress suggested to tell the dry cleaner to just spot-clean it instead of doing the entire dress.  They said it's less expensive.
  
  Whatever you do, DO NOT bring your dress to Falconer's Dry Cleaners.  They claim to be wedding dress specialists but they RUINED my wedding dress (which I posted about earlier) - somewhat luckily for me, it was after my wedding...But that doesn't change the fact that they ruined an incredibly expensive dress that I wanted to keep forever.  And to top it off, they're not only claiming my now yelloish-dress was never white, they're also telilng me I have gone as far as photo-shopping my pictures to make it look white and that the material swatch I brought in (mailed to me directly from the designer) is a fake.  They are completely unreasonable and I'm preparing to bring them to small claims court.  So don't go there!
