After reading the posts...

Thank you all for responding to my post regarding "The Pro's" photo/dj/video services.  I went on line and read the reviews and am stearing clear of them.  I have found a great photographer, but still need input on a DJ and videographer.  We are getting married on the Cape, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

For videographer, we are using Jeremy Folster from Folster Video. He lives on the south shore and is willing to travel. He does fabulous work.  He did two of my friends' weddings and the videos were great.
For DJ, Bill Bibeau is great. Rhythm Express is the name of the company. He lives in Rhode Island and is willing to travel.  His rates are incredibly competitive.

What is your budget for these vendors? A $ amount will definitely help the ladies here give you the best suggestions.

I'm using NuImage for DJ  they are amazing.  We knew in 2007 they were the one

    For Videographer I'd recommend:

McElroy AMAZING and their packages offer a TON (they were booked already for me)

Trish & Michael also amazing a little bit more money and slightly less of a package

iWed Video travels all over the place their videos are awesome but a slightly different style than the other two.

All I keep hearing is that Danny Walsh is the BEST. Sadly he was booked on our date. We used Good Times Unlimited, which was fine. I would say a B-- you can probably find better.

If Danny Walsh is available, just book him-- I have never heard a single bad thing about him.

Well, for a DJ I would highly recommend Chris Baker, he does most of his work out on the cape. He has great reviews, and working with him so far has been a breeze!

I'm getting married on the cape as well, and i'm using Scott Rosenthal with Capetunes. I've never heard a bad review on him. He's been amazing to deal with and definitely cheaper than Danny Walsh. HIGHLY recommend him.

Danny Walsh does get great reviews, but he is one of the more expensive DJs on the cape.

Chris Baker is also great. Never met him or been to a wedding where he's played, but he gets decent reviews. We almost went with him, but Scott's customer service and attentiveness was better and won us over.

Steve McVie also gets good reviews.

    Hope this helps! :)

We used Visions Forever for Video and The Event Connection (John Wells) for DJ.

Tim (Visions) was awesome--I love our video and the communication with them was great--I wasn't sure at first if we wanted a video but I'm so glad that we got one!

John Wells was a great dj--the only thing is the Event Connection has numerous DJ's (very large company) so I can only recommend John--I haven't dealt with any of the other DJ's.
