I'm generally ambivalent about chick lit though.

A series I really enjoyed recently was the Vegas Vampires series by Erin McCarthy. It is chick lit, but it's funny.

I have read Devil in the White City and I just finished another by him called In the Garden of Beasts, about the Ambassador to Nazi Germany when Hitler first ascended.

I will look up the book theif!

- Historical-fiction and non fiction - I just finsihed The Bronze Horseman Trilogy and loved it. I'm working on the Wideacre trilogy now, so far, so good. The Queen's Fool was excellent
- thriller - Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith - I loved it
- mystery - Hmmm... not sure there.
- YA - The Book Thief, Divergent, The Hunger Games (of course), Hero
- Literature - Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, The Art of Racing in the Rain, A History of Witches

Theyre sorta fluffy but I really like the Philippa Gregory Tudor series and cousins war series. It mixes some historical fact with fluff.

I like those Phillippa Gregory books too Nebb.

I haven't read anything that I thought was really good since "A Discovery of Witches" earlier this year. The next book in the series comes out in May I think.

Theres a new Stephen King book coming out on Tuesday, wind through the keyhole. It fits into the dark tower series. I raelly enjoyed his last book, 11/22/63.

Nora roberts & james paterson among others are a favorite, I love the alex cross series. I don't have an e-reader yet (because we bought a new couch for christmas when i was finally gonna get one **sob** but i love my couch) but i read at least a book a week & those authors rarely stear me wrong.
