CLICKYI actually LOVE the majority of our e-pics! I'm exceptionally self-critical so the pictures I don't love are only because of how I see myself in them, NOT that McG's didn't do a fabulous job. I don't know if this is TMI, but I've had a lot of weight-related issues and I was so nervous about these pictures for days that I had a hard time sleeping and focusing on most everything (it's really ridiculous, I know). I was anorexic a few years back and did the whole treatment thing, met FI when I had recovered, and ever since then my life has been go-go-go with zero downtime. I also developed hypothyroidism again and the weight has just packed on, and I've had a really hard time dealing with it. I knew we'd have these pictures forever so it gnawed at me for a long time that this is how I would look in them. So you can see that my body-image is really screwed up...
Sorry if that was TMI, but that's the reason I'm so self-critical and why I was so exceptionally nervous. McG's were fabulous with calming me down though, and I am so, SO happy that we ended up biting the bullet and spending the extra money to work with them. What an enormous difference it has made.
Thank you to all of you who posted on my previous posts regarding the pictures. I am glad I have all of you on this board to bounce ideas off from and lean on a bit. It really made a difference -- thank you for your support and your feedback!

Where did you find your blue dress at? I love it!
Those are awesome! So cute!
I got the dress at Nordstrom - don't have the link on me right now. I think it was around $155 or so + tax, which is way more than I really wanted to spend, BUT I didn't realize they did free basic alterations and steaming which is awesome. Plus I think style-wise it will be amenable to being taken in someday without it looking odd. Unfortunately, my procrastinating self didn't take advantage of the alterations or steaming before the pics!!
[QUOTE]I thnk these turned out fantastic!! I think so many people end up being nervous about one thing or another with themselves being photographed, which is why I'm such a big believer in doing some type of portrait session with your photographer before the wedding. It helps you so much make the pictures the day of so much more natural and easier to deal with!!

ITA. My mom thought we were crazy to spend money on e-pics and Randy wasn't super excited about it either, but I felt like it was really important. I'm so glad we went ahead and did them and would recommend to anyone hiring a photographer for their wedding to get their e-pics done with them also or some type of portrait session. I feel so much more at ease about the pictures now AND I think we'll get a canvas of one of the pics for Randy's parents for a Christmas gift. Never done the print-to-canvas stuff before but hopefully there are some quality ones around.
