Is it ok to ask a bridesmaId to step down? she hasnt bought her dress(all the other girls have),complains about everything, and is very rude to my other bm when shes around them.

    You can't remove her but you can remind her that the ONLY thing she needs to do is to get the dress.  She'll have removed herself if she's not in it.

    You can handle this in a polite way. Tell your friend that if she isn't able to get the bm dress for the wedding, she is welcome to attend as a guest . Then it will be up to your bm to step down if she can't fulfill her only bm duty. And you don't end up being the bad guy.

    Yes it is rude to kick someone out of your wedding.  Give her a final deadline on purchasing her dress...be polite and say that X day is the last day that you can order the dress so that it will come in on time.  If she doesn't get the dress she has basically taken herself out of your wedding.  Also, if all she does is complain, stop talking to her about wedding stuff until your day gets closer.  As far as her being rude to your other girls, they are all adults and should be able to handle that issue without bringing you into it as well.  Good luck!

    Wait a minute. Is this the bm who just had a baby 2 weeks ago? She might be trying to lose a few pounds before she gets the dress.

    At any rate, don't kick her out. Just give her the due date for ordering and leave it up to her. If she doesn't get the dress, then  she can attend as a guest.
