Picked up my dress from Becky today--it's absolutely stunning. The off-the-shoulder sleeves turned out beautifully. I'm going to try and post some pictures this week.

Becky was sweet and wonderful as usual, though she and mom did have a fun little mini confrontation over the cleavage on my sisters BM dress (Becky is altering this as well) It was pretty low and Becky just kept saying it was fine and its the style until my sister and mom said it wouldn't fly in the Church...hehe, it was kind of funny to watch.

And guess who else was picking up her dress today--fellow Knottie Nicole!

    I would love to use Becky. Here's the problem -- I'm planning to have my dress shipped out of state to the wedding location, and because I'm doing this, the store isn't charging me tax, which is great. If I leave the store with the dress - for example, to take it to Becky - they'd have to charge me tax AND shipping. Paying both would probably counteract the savings from using Becky.  Anyone know a way around this?

    I picked up my dress on the 5th.  I adore her.  She is so nice.  My whole family went and they all loved her too :P

    So the consensus is to use Becky for alterations? I am going to order my dress in the next few days from Lulu's or Mockingbird Bridal, they both carry it... do you guys recommend getting alterations done through Becky instead of the stores?

    I have met with her before to get a bridesmaid's dress altered when I was in my friend's wedding and do agree that she is super sweet..

    A majority of the brides on here use Becky and highley reccomend her.

    I am going to see Becky on the 26 and can't wait.

    I picked up my dress last Friday (March 12) and she did a great job! I love my dress and she is so sweet. I was astonished about how cheap she is. I would definitely recommend her over the bridal store alterations. You can't beat the price or the service.

    I'm pretty new at this.. so I hear Becky is well recommened.  Does she have more reasonable pricing than any shop?  Can one of you ladies give me her info.  I get my dress next month and I have lost some weight and will probably  need it altered.

    Highly recommended!  I think she is a much better deal than the shops (at least the ones I priced).

    Yes it was great to see you again Marissa! I was sitting there wondering if it was going to be someone from here that I recoginzed.

    Anyways, my dress came out great. I'm so happy!

    How far in advance do you think I should call and make an appointment (after I get my MOH dress) if the wedding is in September?

    I wouldn't wait more than 2 months out. It took her 2 weeks to even see me and another 2 weeks to alter my dress. She said she is getting really busy right now. Things might slow down by the time you need her, but you can call to make sure she is available.

    I second the PP about calling instead of emailing.

    I would call as soon as you have your dress in hand... maybe even before.

    My wedding is in October and I've already called and booked my appointment for September.  She sounds super awesome... I can't wait to meet her.
