Flower Man Disappointment

So, I am really disappointed with the Flower Man. I met with them 2 weeks ago today and they said they would have a quote for me within a week. I have left 2 messages this week and stil haven't heard a word. I know they come highly recommended, but at this point I am really disappointed in their lack of communication with me and unless I hear from them today I am going to find someone else to work with. Two weeks should be enough time to get a quote out to someone that you have already sat down and spent an hour with. Total bummer!

So, now I need other ideas. Inexpensive is a must. Only need corsages, bouts and bouquets. Someone recommended Kroger and Giant Eagle previously, I called local stores and both told me they don't do it. 

I know Flowers on Spring Tree Lane is popular, but their schedules have not matched up with mine to be able to meet with them.

Flowers by Jerry? Is he reasonably priced? I REALLY want to get something booked ASAP.

    What about DeSantis Florist or the Hilliard Florist? I really liked the lady at the Hilliard Florist, but didn't end up going with them.

    I know they are crazy busy, but this is a bit ridiculous. And it's such a shame too because Melissa was great to work with. But if they can't return my call then I can't book the date.

    I met with 4 florists including the Flowerman.  2 of them, inlcuding Designs by Jerry came in cheaper than the flowerman (with their 20% special).  I ended up going with Kelly Karsten.  I gave her the total from the Flowerman and she matched it plus I am getting a little more, don't have to worry about making them  and picking everything up that day.

    I have had the same problem!!  We used them in Dayton for my sisters wedding in 09 and were really excited when we found out they were in Columbus.  It took her two weeks to get back to me with an updated contract and now I am having trouble getting ahold of her to make my final payment.  She will not order flowers if they are not paid for by 21 days before the wedding but I'm not going to blindly leave a credit card number on her voicemail.  

    I've finally started calling early in the morning and leaving a voicemail and then calling throughout the day to see if I can catch her picking up her phone.  It's such a big mess!!

    I'm using Kelly karsten for my wedding in two weeks. I feel like I'm getting a lot for the amount of money I'm spending. I'll let you know how it turns out. My bouquet is roses and hydrangeas and is 105. BM bouquets are 50. I think the bouts are 6.50, but I think my FI is a few dollars more. Hope this helps. Www.kellykarsten.com

    I also had the same problem with FM! They came through in the end, but it was very frustrating when they wouldn't return calls.

    Avoid the Flowerman.  Melissa was great at getting back with us before our wedding (we wed on April 2), but our flowers were a complete disaster.  Avoid, avoid, avoid.  We had been in contact with her after the wedding dealing with our complaint, but we never heard back from her.

    I had the same problem with my quote from flowerman.  I know they were cheap but after having to HUNT down my proposal i was worried about how the rest of the process would go.  l
