What are you doing......

in June 2012 Weddings
For a favor? Are you ladies doing favors? Why or why not? We are still deciding what exactly to do. We may do a wine stopper because both my FI and I love to drink wine and we think that it would be a good representation of us.

We are having a candy buffet, but my mom does not think that is acceptable for a favor, and I do. *sigh*

    I have no idea any more.  I wanted to do custom Jones Soda bottles, but oh my the price on those is crazy.  I'm open for suggestions!

    We are doing truffles that my FI and I will be making.  Everyone will get a box with two inside.

    We wanted to do something personal and also something that wouldn't cost too much that people would also really like.

    I think a candy buffet is totally appropriate! We're not even doing favours, as they're not required. We're trying to keep thing simple.

    we are having a photo booth, so the pictures will be our favors. our names are on the top of the strip of photo's and our date is at the bottom

    Assuming the baker we are meeting on Thursday works out, we are doing cupcakes instead of wedding cake, and I am planning on ordering lots of mini cupcakes to have a mini cupcake table.

    We're having an eco-friendly wedding, so we're going to do little potted flowers or herbs.  We're going to put clear labels on the pots that have guests' names and table numbers so that they double as escort cards.

    We are getting all different scents of  Yankee Candles in Votives with a clear glass votive holder. FI and I are obsessed with YC !

    First comes Love (2.23.2006)
    Then comes Marriage (6.23.2012)
    Then comes Baby #1 (5.10.2013)
    And Baby #2 (EDD 6.15.2014)
    In the baby carriage!

    I have no idea what we're doing yet, but hopefully something edible like chocolate lollipops, cake pops, or chocolate covered pretzels.

    I think candy buffets are and have been popular for quite some time; regardless of what your mom says, I'm sure it will be fine.  If she insists you can't do a candy buffet as the favor, I'd tell her she can pitch in for her idea of "real" favors.

    My aunt will be making cookies for our wedding favors.  My sister got married last year and my aunt made sugar cookies that look like wedding cakes.  No kidding they looked like they were from a bakery!  I just need to find a design I want for our cookies.  I am sooo thankful my auntie is willing to help us!!
