I love H's job...for many reasons

Among them are the discounts at many places (cell phone) and the great health care.

AND, the fact that I get to see many issues from another side.  One of the biggest, being unions.  Should be quite the journey.

    I love DH's job too. The healthcare is fantastic and we do get some pretty sweet perks. Plus they are good to their employees.

    You guys are mean!  Rubbing it in my face that my husband doesn't have job!!!!

    Actually, this post reminded me that we will no longer get the cell phone reimbursement for DH's phone through work.   Dang it!   I guess it's time to look over our plan and see if we can cut something.   :(

    Oh, yeah - it was on FB.  I forgot you're not on there - or Pmeg.
    Yep, DH got laid off on Monday - it wasn't a complete shock but we were hoping they'd figure something out.   He worked for a non-profit and their major source of funding/business cut their budget.   Dh was the only one laid off, but all of his employees that were full time got cut down to 16 hours/week or less.  Today is his last day and he's really sad.  He liked the people he worked with and he liked what he was doing to help people.   It's hard to find a job that fulfills you like that, so it will be hard for him.

    6 - it wasn't a discount, it was an actual reimbursement from his company for his part of our cell phone bill.
