small reception site

Hi,

I'm completely new at this at least writing on the Knot. Expecting a proposal very soon and have actually started talking guest lists with my soon to be fiance.  I'm looking for a nice, intimate wedding setting (no ballrooms) for a wedding that will probably be abour 60 guests. We currently reside in the San Fernando Valley so I prefer that area, Burbank, Glendale, or Agoura, Westlake Village, Simi any of those nearby areas. Thinking a really nice restaurant. So far, I am leaning towards Cafe Santorinis Rococo Room. Any one have any great ideas? It would be much appreciated!

    Have you been to/heard of the Castaway in Burbank?

    I've only had brunches there, so I can't speak for the evening or event meals, but it's a great place and the food I've had has always been wonderful. The view, especially in the evenings is wonderful. The deck, which I believe is usually a part of event rentals, looks over the SFV and out to the Santa Monica mountains.

    I got married at Ramsey's at the Club in Toluca Lake and I can't say enough about it. We had 68 people and it was perfect, size wise. It's such a pretty venue and the service was wonderful.

    I was also a Ramsey's bride. The place was perfect. It was so great working with them and they have the best food. I can also answer any questions you may have. :)

    A tv show I'm working on is wanting to be a part of someones wedding. We would like to help with the reception location and food. It sounds like you need help with your budget.
