Hey! I'm here!

I've been a little busy with work. Sometimes I'm on the computer all day, other times I'm out meeting clients. And the last 2 evenings I've been on the hunt for shoes to wear with my dress lol

There was a girl on my local board who had the cutest purple shoes and I want them so bad...

I tried online but no luck (they only have white and black)...I may have to go into an actual DSW...I hope they still have them...

I actually bought some shoes yesterday and I love them but today I am coming to the sad reality that I may have to take them back because I don't think my feet will be able to take them all day

Looks like I may be back at it again today looking for another shoe

What color shoes are you going for?

I have a challenge though...FI is only about 3 inches taller than me so I will be looking for a short heel...I think that is a challenge in itself...

Have you tried walking in the shoes (on carpet)?

Thats one thing that I am kind of thinking will work in my favor with a small heel...I dont want a small heel but at the same time, I dont want to be taller than FI on our wedding day...

I'll wear white, silver, or purple shoes.

I've tried walking in the shoes on carpet and the heel height is not so bad (considering it's almost 5"), it's just kinda tight in the toe area and will probably make me miserable trying to wear them all day. I just love them so much though...

There's only a few more places for me to look, I've been to macys, bloomingdales, saks, neiman marcus, dsw, bakers, nordstrom, looking online, other random stores, I'm just so picky!

I just want a heel that's at least 3 inches. I'm 5'3" and FI is 6'1" so I have room to play around with height.

And I scheduled my first fitting for Saturday so I need shoes ASAP! lol

Maybe I'll try walking around those shoes some more today and see if I can make it work lol

Ok...what if you kept the shoes and not wore them for the wedding?

Would that possibly work just so you can still have the shoes that you love?

I would hate for you to be miserable on your big day.

Maybe if you didnt have the shoes for the first fitting that would be alright...

Have you tried zappos.com and piperlime.com?

I havent really been on a hunt for shoes so I cant be much help...

Okay, so after walking around in them a bit more, I think I can break them in. In fact I have them on as I speak lol

I think I'll just try to walk around in them every couple of days before the wedding and they should be good to go!

I'm claiming these as my official wedding shoes!! lol.

Im glad you finally found your wedding shoes...

And yes PLEASE be sure to break them in...you dont want hurt feet on your wedding day...oh NO NO NO!

Maybe you can take them and have them stretched so they don't sqeeze your toes. I recommend Midtown Shoe Repair. It's a very small shop off Ponce, but I take my shoes there for all kinds of alterations. I'm taking my wedding shoes there so he can make an adjustment to the strap. I need to make sure they are going to be as comfy as possible!
