This Joka must have thought I was playin!

I have been asking FI for addresses since January and still don't have them all. Last week I told him I am mailing all invitations on Saturday and not touching another one after that. Saturday comes, I mail them out, and rsvp's are rolling in. Today he tells me he wants his aunt to be escorted down the aisle during the ceremony. So I ask him if he's planning on texting her the date and time since he never gave me her address. I probably could have kept the sarcasm but hell, she lives thousands of miles away from us and never got a STD or invite because of his procrastination. So he says "I will get you her address." And I say "you who? You mean me, who told you I was not touching another invitation after Saturday?" Is that wrong? I mean he had ample time to provide all of the addresses for his side of the family!

    Me too kris, I would not wish this man's spirit of procrastination on anyone!  SMH, thats my baby though, guess I better get used to it :)

    I'm with you reese! You asked him for 6 months. They have no idea how much work all of this takes. I'm sure that's not the only thing on your to do list. You have completed your check and moved on to the next phase. Like Key said show him where the invites are and the rest he can do on his own.

    Mean me is saying oh well, maybe he'll figure it out, maybe he won't, not my problem.

    Control freak me is saying is he going to remember to number her rsvp card?  Will he mark her as "sent" on the spreadsheet?  Will he remember she is married and her husband will need to be on the invite too?  Darn, I might have to do it myself for my own sanity, lol!

    I went through (and am still going through) this.  I did what you did, Im not touching another invite.  I did what I had to on my end.  My people are coming and or have atleast been formally invited... Im done

    Girl, These men... They are all procrastinators.. Mines move slow when it comes to some stuff, and do things on his own time.. But let me move slow and he acts like he has a tude.. These men kill me... Um, Just be nice this one time.. But in case he have forgotten another person, politely show him where the invitations are.. Men are so lazy. LOL..
