BM jewelry

Ok, help me out. I am super torn on what to do for jewelry for the BMs. I am at work, so I can't PIP, but look in my bio under "attire" to see their dresses. I wanted to make a necklace, but I am not sure what will look right with the square neckline. Should I just do earrings instead? If a necklace, what kind? I will say, I am really not loving the idea of pearls. All input would be appreciated!

A simple chain with a nice simple pendant should work just fine. Otherwise, if it's difficult to decide and adding to your stress level, just go with dangly earrings. I'm at the point of the whole K.I.S.S. motto!

Ditto the K.I.S.S. motto, I'm trying to remind myself of that constantly now. :P I would do a simple pendant or accent stone on a short chain, one that falls just below the notch of the collarbones. Mine is smokey topaz (lovely smokey brown) on a gold chain from Banana Republic a few years back but I managed to find some similar pictures online. These are all in the $30-40 range but you could probably DIY something really easily by finding some cheap 16" chain (silver or gold) and then buying a large briolette bead in a semi-precious, stone, or crystal and do them for $20 or less each. While these show a little post going through the stone, mine actually is threaded directly on the chain. If the chain is fine enough to go through the bead, I would just do that!

Are you beholden to doing jewelry for them? You could always just let them wear their own?

I like the pendant idea, although I couldn't really find any I liked.

Thanks, you ladies have given me a ton of ideas. Carrie, I was originally thinking of just regular glass - I'd never seen the sea glass necklaces before, but they are really interesting!
