If you used Neon Express as your DJ, what system did you use? We would love to save some money and go with the mini system for $250. It will be used outdoors under a tent with 150-175 people. If you used this system, did you feel that the lights provided were enough and the music was plenty loud? If you went with the standard system ($350) or larger, please share your thoughts too. Thanks!

    We went with the standard at 350$. We had roughly 175 people there in the reception space and it was perfect. I would be a little hesitant to use the mini one. I would also suggest asking them what they think is appropriate.

    We used the mini system and had about 120 guests. I thought that the music volume was just right (although a very annoying guest kept asking the DJ to turn it down). The lights were just fine. Not spectacular, but they were perfectly adequate. If I had it to do over again I would keep the mini system.

    We also used it for our ceremony music outdoors and it worked very well.

    Thank you everyone for your input. I think we might go with the standard system just to be safe. We'd still be saving money considering Neon Express charges half of what other DJs do.
