Brookfield Hotels/Offiiciant

We are working on the finishing touches for our wedding.  We stil need the most important thing, an officiant.  Is it typically cheaper to go with an officiant rather than going with someone from the courthouse?  We don't want to spend a lot of money, I'd say not over $200-300 at most, and we'd like someone who has been doing this for awhile and has a good rep.

Also, we are looking at hotels in Brookfield for our guests, and for us on our wedding night.  Any recommendations?  A lot of the reviews online seem to be average/bad, but that could also just be picky people that come online only to complain :)

We are using the Country Inn and Suites for a block of rooms - at Moreland and Greenfield.  Easy access, reasonable rates, restaurants and the mall are nearby, and our reception is less than 2 miles away.

We are using the Brookfield Sheraton, which is right next to the mall.

We are using Rev. Nichole Baird.  She has been wonderful to work with.  She charges $195 for rehearsal and ceremony.

We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites for a friend's wedding.  It was good, except when we were checking in they gave us a room that was currently occupied.  Oops!
