I see you have a link to a wedding bio page. I am definitely going to check it out! I am a woman, and am engaged to a trans woman. Same-sex marriage is not legal in Michigan. But fortunately we have some loopholes, as my fiance is still legally a man. So although it will all be legal, my fiance is actually presenting as a woman, so it will be two brides. Any advice would be much appreciated!

My site has a lot of information on what we did. And the page at this link discusses some specific issues we dealt with as a two-bride couple, which may be helpful to you.
But I think my best advice is to treat your wedding like any other wedding, except to the extent that specific adjustments are necessary. For example, check out your local board and your month and year board on this site, as well as this board. When looking at venues and vendors, start by getting leads on the best ones in your area, and only after that inquire about whether they have issues with an apparently (even though not legally) same-sex couple. Our experience was that the vast majority of wedding vendors--even including some that had never been approached by a same-sex couple before--were happy to work with us. And of course, if you interview a vendor who is not supportive, you don't have to use them. But don't start by limiting yourself to vendors known to be supportive of same-sex marriage, as you'll thereby rule out a lot (particularly in a state that doesn't yet have same-sex marriage) that have just never had the opportunity to work with a same-sex couple.
