Two favors?

Our wedding is in CT and we got engaged in St. Augustine, FL.  WE LOVE ST. AUGUSTINE, so we decided to go with a hot sauce made from a pepper that only grows down tehre as a favor.  I'm tempted to have a second favor scattered on teh tables two (let's say table of 10 - 5 hot sauce, 5 something else), but I don't know what that OTHER could be that'll somehow not be weird mixed with hot sauce... Any idea???  :)

    Definitely do something edible.  It doesn't really have to be something that would "go with" the hot sauce since I'm assuming people will not be putting the hot sauce on the other favor. :)

    Maybe something like chocolates or chocolate covered pretzels, or dishes of candy, etc.

    Are the hot sauces in small bottles?  I think that just the hot sauces would be just fine.  Maybe attach a little favor tag that explains the importance of St. Augustine to the two of you.

    I would choose just one favor rather than a random scattering of "stuff" on the table.  First, I think having two different favors placed randomly won't look appealing.  And what happens if everyone grabs the "other" favor and then people are stuck with the one they didn't want?

    Here's the thing:  I get that not everyone will want a favor.  But I think having two somehow makes it worse if people don't get the one they want.  Does that make sense?

    Anyway, I'd just decide on one and go with it.  FWIW:  my nephew and his bride had a variety (I think probably about 3) different favors sort of scattered on tables, and no one was really sure what to do:  were they to choose just one?  Take 2 or all 3?  Were we supposed to take the one nearest our place?  So most people just ended up leaving them all.

    I think it makes sense to have only one wedding favor - however when you do it, make it look special.  Put it in a nice bag, with ribbon or with a sticker.  Make it completely part of your theme.

    I'm also having 2 favors for my wedding... But this is how I am doing it...
    Our main favor ( bottles of wine with custom labels ) will be displayed on a decorated table when the guests are leaving they can take 1 per couple ...

    the second favor are going to be handmade chocolates in bride and groom boxes that will be on each place setting... i'm doing this because-- our escort cards are handmade chocolate bars... and will be a nice touch when seated to see handmade chocolates.. also because everyone will receive a box of chocolates while we limit our wine bottles to 1 per couple.

    Hi all!  Sorry I never responded - I was (thankfully) on vacation for the last week, but am back.  :(  Thanks for all of your replies - and we certainly plan to put a little "explanation" tag on the bottles and dress them up with ribbon.  You definitely all give me something to think about!
