affordable liquor?

  My wedding is a destination wedding in Evergreen. Anyone have good stores to check out around Denver for cheap wine and beer prices? I am trying to look on costco.com and such, and no one really lists liquor prices. Thanks!

    I went to my locally-owned neighborhood liquor store, and they gave me a discount on cases of beer, box wine, and champagne.  Or you can try the liquor warehouse - they give case discounts too.

    Thanks.  Cheddar is all grown up now, and quite obnoxious.  I haven't found Costco's prices (in Colorado Springs anyway) to be all that great for beer & wine, and their selection isn't large either.  I did better elsewhere.

    Applejack Liquor (in Wheatridge) is pretty cheap but only takes cash.  Argonaut Liquor in Denver is my favorite.

    Check with your caterer- sometimes they know the places that will sell to you wholesale AND let you return unopened liquor!  That's what we're doing.
