DESPERATELY SEEKING DJ!!!

I have exhausted all the searches I can at this point. I cannot find a DJ for my casual backyard wedding that doesn't want to charge me $1000. Dude no offense to any DJ's but you playing music is not worth $300 an hour! Please please PLEASE tell me someone found a DJ for a 4 hour cereony/recep for less than that!

    Scracth that- I just did my research and would not reccomend djguy at all. They were great in the meeting, but the reviews are HORRIBLE.

    We got our DJ for $600 for 5 hours after posting an ad on craigslist.  His name is JD at Shall We Dance Entertainment.  Licensed and a professional wedding DJ, but he is located here in Los Angeles..... you might want to do an ad, we got tons of replies.

    I agree with Bill Calhoun as well.  He was my DJ last week - he is amazing.  I would book him again in a heartbeat.  He is fantastic with communicating by email - which I love, he is very organized and thorough.  We danced the whole night - had a wonderful time.

    I contacted Bill right after I read the recomendation. He called back within twenhty minutes and gave me the exact quote I was hoping for! He was funny and def not creepy and I think we will be very happy!  Thank you so much ladies!

    I have Bill Calhoun Mobile Music doing my wedding too!  We didnt get Bill since he was already booked but we did get his associate Dave Smith and he has great reveiws too :)
