Pomander balls?

Alright ladies I know one of you has DIYed pomander balls and I can not remember who.
I want to make some for aisle decor and will need to do about 12 but am terrified of what it's going to entail/end up costing. Any pointers would be great!

    I haven't done it myself yet (or rather, I have half-ass tried and it didnt work) but I have this link for tissue paper pomander balls

    Not sure if you wanted flowers or tissue paper ones.

    I have made 2/3 of my fabric pomander balls already- making 24 total. I've mostly used instructions from this site: http://sabrinasplanningbio.weebly.com/fabric-pomander-balls.html

    I used 3 inch balls instead of the 6 inch and they come out to be almost 6 inches with the fabric, which is just about right so people can actually get into the aisle without hitting them every time. It is a little under a yard of fabric per ball that way too- I started with 6 yards which made 8 of them.

    I bought the fabric at Joanns when they would have a 40 or 50% off one item coupon because one cut of fabric counts as one item and I'd have them cut 6 yards at a time. I used one of the less expensive fabrics because it's all cut up anyways and it was about $15/6 yards. I also got some good fabric scissors (also with a 50% off) and I could cut through many folded up layers at once to make the circles which sped it up.

    I just made one! I used a flower hole punch and and layered 2 "flowers" on top of each other and used corsage pins on a 4" styrofoam ball. Super easy!

    That looks great, Engagedbythefalls! Reb, I saw a really easy way to do them if you are using fake flowers. You use a wiffle ball and hot glue the underside of the flowers to the ball after sticking the stem through the hole. If you are using real flowers, get balls of floral oasis, soak in water, and stick the stems in and your done. Full flowers like carnations work really well. Good luck!
