I went to the childcare center and filled out the application. I gave her my resume complete with references. She is going to do a preliminary background check and then call past employers and references before setting up a formal interview. She said I should hear back from her tomorrow afternoon! Quick turnaround time! They are hiring a lead and assistant infant/toddler teacher, so two spots are open. The only thing I am worried about is what the one charter school I worked at will say when she calls. I was going through a really rough time and fighting with depression that had not been diagnosed at that point. I ended up leaving the charter school without notice. They knew I was going through a tough time and was thinking about leaving. I hope this one thing from that terrible time in my life doesn't prevent me from getting an interview or getting hired at this new job. Worried about that.
