Greenville Dress Shopping

Hi ladies,

I'm starting to shop for a wedding dress in the Greenville area--and I have no idea where to look! Can you please suggest a few places where the gowns are reasonably priced?

    Dimitra's Designs has a really wide selection. I bought mine at Southern Bride.

    The Castle in Spartanburg has some too.  I'm pretty sure there's also a David's Bridal in Greenville.

    I bought mine at Carolina Traditions in Spartanburg and they had great customer service when I was there.

    Davids Bridal had the best customer service, the rest of the shops were busy and claustrophobic (s/p). best of luck!

    Dimitra Designs has a good selection but the customer service sucks and the prices are $$$$$$$$.

    Southern Bride is very friendly and has a good selection. Their prices are good. I did have a little trouble with them as far as staying updated on my dress due date after the sale. If you are willing to stay on top of them and initiate conversation than you will be fine. www.southern-bride.com (My dress shop)

    Davids Bridal isn't bad here but not my style.

    The Dress is a wedding dress consignment shop in Mauldin. www.thedressconsignment.com

    Magnolia Bridal - I wasn't very thrilled with this place. It smelled like cigarettes inside and was way to small for all the stuff they had there.

    I would steer clear of Southern Bride.  There was a segment on the news not too long ago about all the brides who have had what I would consider an unacceptable experience with them.  There's a thread on this board about it if you want more details.
