Wedding Party Entrance Song for Reception

Hi everyone,

I need some ideas.  What song are you playing while you and your bridal party enter the reception?  I want something fun, but not something that has crude lyrics.  My future husband and I are both pastors so it is important that the music at our reception is clean.  I would love to hear what you are using!!

    Welcome to the board, Melissa!  My FI graduated with a Youth Ministry degree from Liberty in December and started a YP position out in Kansas in February!

    We're using the Friends theme song (I'll Be There for You) for the WP entrance.

    Oh sweetie...you have plenty of time...and you and M can pick it together!!! :)

    We're doing Usher's DJ Got Us Falling in Love Again.  It's super fun, but it may be slightly inappropriate by just a teeny tad.  Dynamite by Taio Cruz has no problems with lyrics.  But music is a personal taste.

    We entered to the chorus of "Centerfield" by John Fogarty.  Probably not what you were looking for though!  Do you have a theme or anything for your wedding?  That might help narrow it down, although my motto is "when in doubt, go with the oldies."  You can't go wrong with the Beach Boys!

    Congrats and welcome!

    We used a different song for each entrance that went in line with their personalities and it was a lot of fun.

    FG and RB: "Candy Man" by Christina Aguilera

    Jr. BM and GM: "Let's Get it Started" by Black Eyed Peas

    BM and GM: "Hot in Heeere" by Nelly (because this GM is always ridiculously sweaty so we knew he'd be soaked after standing outside for the ceremony and cocktail hour.. haha)

    BM and GM: "Sexy Back" by Justin Timberlake (definitely described these two!)

    BM and GM: "Pump It" by Black Eyed Peas

    BM and GM: "Big Poppa" by Biggie Smalls (This GM took it to the next level and popped his collar and borrowed a cane and did the pimp walk in and got the whole crowd laughing) After their entrance the DJ announced "See that's how they should be coming in!"

    BM and GM: "We are Family" (it was my brother and SIL)

    MOH and Best Man: "Where the Party At" by Jagged Edge

    Me and DH: "Bring em Out" by TI and Jay Z

    Our bridal party announcement song is going to be "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars.  I like it because it has a good beat, it's sweet, and although it's a love song, it also applies to all our friends who will be in the wedding -- we love them just the way they are, not in spite of their quirks, but because of their quirks!
