AW-Venue Booked!!!

As of this month, we are 1 year away, and we just booked our venue! Our wedding is at the Silver Swan Bayside on Kent Island. As soon as my FI and I walked in, we knew it was the perfect place for us. This is a big weight off of my shoulders now, and I can't wait to plan out all of the details. YEAY!

Yay! Was it just a year ago that we booked our venue? I can still remember the excitement!! Enjoy it, and have fun...this will be a year of great fun for you, don't wish it away, and take time to really enjoy your entire experience!

Congrats! I am trying to plan a wedding near Stevensville for May 2011. Did you look at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and Kent Manor Inn as well? If so, how did you think the three venues compared? Thanks!

CBCRocks...congrats on booking your venue.
I have been thinking about setting up a tour of Silver Swan as a possible venue for our wedding. Do you have any pictures you could share, as I'm having a hard time finding any online??

I don't know if that worked, but it was from a wedding of a friend of mine.

Silver Swan was renovating when we first went, so they invited us back to visit early next month to see the work they've done, so I hope to take some pictures then.
