Rustic/Vintage Wedding Venue in Wester Suburbs of Chicago

It's becoming more and more difficul to find a venue that fits our needs and style. Orchard Ridge Pavilion in Rockton, IL  http://orchardridgefarms.com/ was a perfect style for us but it's too expensive. Blumen Gardens in Sycamore  http://blumengardens.com/ also has the unique rustic apeal that we love, but wont fit 250 guests. Emerson Creek in Oswego http://www.ecreekpotteryandtearoom.com/ is also a favorite of ours but it's becoming apparent that the prices are sky rocketing. We loved Danada House in Wheaton http://www.danadahouse.com/ but they are booked every Friday and Saturday from May 2014-November 2014.

We have a budget of $35,000 to work with but the cost of weddings just seems to increase! How are people able to afford weddings today?? It's ridiculous how much these places can charge you!

Does anyone of any suggestions of rustic/unique wedding venues in the suburbs of Chicago that are will suit our taste and budget? HELP PLEASE!!

    You probably don't want to travel this far, but maybe southern WI will have more options for you? I'm in Chicago and my wedding will be just outside of Madison, but my family is all up there so that makes it easier for me. Just a suggestion.

    WOW, most of us in Chicago would LOVE to have a 35,000 budget..I know I would........Please be appreciative of that budget.....



    Try Byron Colby barn..I hear alot of good ones about that place

    Osacar Swan in Geneva or Enchanted Barn in Wisconsin.

    Also not sure why you are having trouble with a 35,000 budget, but it might be time to trim the guest list so you have more venue options available.

    If you're willing to go east, there's lots of chicago brides that go to the Blue Dress Barn in Michigan.  I looked there initially, but decided against it because of the lack of kitchen for my caterer.
