Wedding Venue Feedback

I was just wondering if anyone had any feedback or reviews on The View on the Hudson in Piermont NY.

    The Hudson Valley board has a lot of View brides on it - you should try posting this there.  HTH!

    I really didn't like the main ballroom decor.  They did have nice views of the water, but that was about it.

    My brother and sister-in-law had their reception there back in 2006.  They were very happy with the service and with the reception in general.  As a guest, the food was pretty good and better than the average wedding.  The view from the ballroom is really pretty, and I think that is probably the best asset to the venue.  Some say the ballroom looks dated, that can be attributed to the curtains.  One drawback was that the bar is outside of the main ballroom, but I do remember that there was table service for alcohol.
