Opinions for Walt Disney World (Florida) in November?

Fiance said he was considering WDW for our honeymoon in November. Neither of us have gone when we could remember it (we were both very young) and it was actually his idea. Will the weather be nice?

Re: Opinions for Walt Disney World (Florida) in November?

  • The weather is always nice in Florida, IMO. =) I've gone lots of times in December for Christmas. You wear pants instead of shorts, but short sleeve shirts are usually fine.

November can actually be nicer than summer because there are less crowds and it's not so humid.

This site (clicky) has a great review of November 2011, so you can see crowds and weather and prices. I always use MouseSavers (clicky) when planning my vacations. MouseSavers has special deals, lists which attractions are closed for maintanence, and lots of reviews.

    Good luck!
  • We went on December 1st, which I'd say is pretty darn close to November. I'm fairly certain I wore jeans every day. During the day, a t-shirt was fine and I even felt pretty hot at times, but at night, I definitely needed a sweatshirt or something else covering my arms. We were still able to go swimming and I saw many others who did as well.

I feel that time of year can be a little unpredictable. I once went during the first week of November and it was far too cold for anyone to even consider the pools. I remember wearing heavy fleece even during the day.

Neither times were uncomfortable, but I would prepare for a little bit of everything if your luggage can handle it.

  • If we decide to go, it will be right in the middle of November. I need to check the schedule (great idea, i would have never thought of that on my own..) and see if i can get cheaper packages far ahead of time...
  • We just went this past November but right at the beginning (11/11 when we got engaged). It was awesome weather and the crowds were relatively low. If you go at the time we did the food and wine festival was just about over and we were able to get the end of it which was good because we got to experience it but bad because that day Epcot was PACKED. The weather is awesome as someone else said it can be semi cool during the day but still warm to where you can get by with tshirt but at night it definitly drops. I use an awesome website that gives you details on weather, crowds, and prices on a daily basis based on 15 yrs of stats. It also gives you recommendations for what parks to hit up when. (http://www.easywdw.com/) Anyways, I love Disney and actually just came back two weekends ago from taking our e-pics there and while we were in Magic Kingdom we saw a bride and groom walking around in their outfits it was so cute but looked so uncomfortable lol they looked really happy though! GL and enjoy!
