Anyone else feel like the week is dragging?

FI and I spent time last night and the night before prepping our save the date cards. I am waiting on a couple address updates, and then those babies are going in the mail! Can't wait.

Apparently New England has a storm on the way so my whole week got screwed up. I was supposed to go to my new apartment to unpack but we have no food there so if I get snowed in I'm done for. So instead I'm going tonight and just not going to spend the night. I think it's going to work out but there's a lot to do. We're foolishly having guests this weekend so it needs to be more pulled together than it currently is.

Half day at work tomorrow, so I can't wait for that! I'm hoping that the end of the week goes quickly!

My neck of the woods is getting slapped by rain, but snow is moving in quickly. Depending on the weather, I probably won't be in the office past noon (yay!).

FIL's came home from a long vacation last night. FI was in no big hurry to see his parents, but I couldn't wait lol. We had dinner with them, and after coming home and putting our son to bed, I just crashed while FI studied on the couch. I'm also battling allergies. I didn't have them for the first 29 years, but now I'm blasted every other season. Getting older is for the birds!

I thought yesterday was Wednesday, I was very wrong. I hate this week, I have no good reason, just do. I think its the PMS.

Good luck with the storm Boston. I honestly don't know how people deal with it. I can't imagine having to carry on a normal life in that kind of snow. I lived in WI on and off until I was 14 and can not imagine ever going back.

Maybe snow here in Jersey I have no clue... Missed a meeting today. Not supposed to be at work till 11:30 and the meetimg was 10 n normally lasts about 15 minutes its nothing big just a committee im on. Writing and mailing my check to the tent guy to save my date since we are doing the wedding out doors. Thank you uncle sam for getting my tax refund to me so quickly!

It's snowing here pretty good (BC) pretty soon I will have to dig the snow shovel out!

I've had a busy DIY couple of days...I made a banner out of burlap, my veil, and assembled the silk flower bouquets for me and my BM. I just need to add ribbon for a finishing touch! Yay!

Wow, just realized tomorrow is 6 months for 09/07 brides! When did that happen?! It seems like yesterday it was over a year away!

I don't mind the snow now that I have an AWD car. It can be really pretty and I enjoy skiing and other snow activities so it's NBD. I just hate losing power and this snow is supposed to be heavy if we get it. Ugh.

I got my tax refund back quickly, but I still have to go deposit it. It's a huge help with moving expenses (I can't get over how much stuff we need - soap, who knew there were so many different kinds?) but I keep telling myself maybe I'll do something fun with it (which is why it's still not deposited).

We got 6-8 inches yesterday. Very heavy, wet snow. I don't do the shoveling though, the FI does it

I don't mind the snow and activities but I hate getting out of bed when its cold. It's about an hour long process.

We moved from a townhouse that I (my dad) owned for about 9 years into a house we bought 11 months ago. We are still buying crap that I didn't know we needed.

Its just raining in Philly for now. It's supposed to turn into snow this evening, which would be nice since we're going snow tubing tomorrow

I'm on a vacation week right now and I'm trying my darndest to get as much wedding related stuff done before getting back to work, but it kinda sucks dealing with people who aren't as responsive as you'd like. I've tried to get info from the alcohol supplier and schedule our cake tasting for the past three days and both people haven't come in to work for the past two days. It's like I'm trying to give you my business (MONEY!), but you're not just really into that. Who does that?

At least one of the FOUR makeup artists I've contacted has been good about getting back to me. I'll be moving forward with her

I hope everybody stays warm during the storm.

I'm trying to lie low at work...it's a quiet day so I'm on here. The girl I work with has been fighting with her bf for the past three months. She just moved out a couple weeks ago, after only living together for a couple of months. Then, they got back together, but on his phone she found a picture of his privates that he had sent to another girl. She fights with him on the phone at work here and it's very uncomfortable, as much as I feel for her! Sometimes even with customers in the store. Ugh.

I'm training a newbie at work for the next couple of weeks. Things will be a lot slower paced which is both good and bad. But I have a lot of faith in this chick so I know she'll do good once she's on her own.

Totally jealous of you ladies w/ snow, btw. We barely had any here this year and I'm totally bummed about it

Tried making some WR progress w/ FI last night. And it didn't end well. He unfortunately doesn't understand a budget and wants to squeeze everything into a $10k budget (we've spent 1/2 that on venue and photography already) Sigh. Hope he starts understanding a bit more. Gonna focus on food next and then go from there. Everything else can be extras I suppose.
