Prcing for DOC...feedback please!

I understand the importance of hiring one...you don't have to convice me of that. I"m just trying to figure out pricing. What did you pay? What type of service did you getZ? Recommendations of companies? While I am very budget concious (sp?), I don't want to hire the cheape just b/c they are the cheapest.

I can highly recommend Chic Designs & Fabulous Events, she assisted me on my wedding day and I couldnt have asked for more, her day of services made everything go so smooth I was STRESS FREE!!! I had nothing to worry about other then to enjoy my day to the fullest which I DID!!!

Julie and I have been friends for a very long time so having her by my side for that day meant the world to me...since my wedding I have seen other events that Julie has done and she IS truely amazing!

I agree with PP. Julie's doing my wedding at the end of this month and she's been very easy to work with. I just told her what we can afford and she's stayed within or under my budget on everything.

My favorite thing is that she's always accessible and gets right back to me with a response.

I'm using Monica from Elan Event design (found her through the knot). She has been amazing to work with, and I don't regret at all getting one (even with having to cut some costs in another area). She has also been around for some time which was really important to me. I've heard some scary stories from vendors that weren't certified or had limited experience so that aspect was important (from my end). Also heard some good things about Staci from unique event design. Good luck!
