Long story short: future sis in law announces she is 8 weeks pregnant this past weekend. We are planning an august wedding which coincides with the arrival of her baby by 3 days.I know alot can happen, but she might be at the ceremony with a 3 day old, or very very unconfortbale, Im not sure I would go to a weddin with a 3 day old.We have the option, to switch dates to May 15th, which is much much earlier and we are fine with..bhut the more family members I talk to, the more conflicted I am...
If you were me, would you change teh date? I'm thinking if she just had teh baby wed want to go see her in the hospital, not dance the night away (were pretty close!)

Re: do I change my date?
Most women don't have the baby on their actual due date, but no one is going to go to a wedding with a 3 day old baby.
Personally, if I was able to change my date I would.
[QUOTE]I would change it, unless I really hated my FSIL and preferred that she not be there. ;-)

Bwhahaha, agreed.

We changed our wedding date (moved it up 5 months) so that my brother could make it. There was no way I was getting married without him there, but not everyone feels that way. Yeah, you can't please everyone, but it was important to DH and I that our siblings be there.

I'd move the wedding, if I could- although, really, life happens, you're never going to be able to accomodate all the life stuff that comes up for people. But for a SIL? Yeah, I'd move the wedding.
But, I'd do it in your situation, too.
