This afternoon was cold and rainy, so I knocked out our favors and our centerpieces! Sorry this is like my 4th thread lately haha, not meaning to be a AW!
Our favors are pink muslin bags filled with Hershey's hugs and kisses, placed inside little flower pots. I'm ordering some stickers for the pots that say:
"Let Love Grow
XOXO, E&S"
Our centerpieces are Cheerwine bottles with 3 pink Gerber daisies. I had to cut the stems with wire cutters and make sure they were all even. My gma wants me to use floral tape to bind them together, but I think they look more natural without it, and plus that'd be more work!
I finished addressing and assembling the invites as well. I just left a few of them for my single friends unfinished, in case they start dating someone between now and late Feb. And I bought 64 cent stamps, stupidly forgetting about the price increase coming up, so I will have to go back and buy 40 1 cent stamps...more annoying than anything, but whatever. I could go ahead and mail them to avoid that, but 40 cents is hardly going to break my budget.
So next on my checklist is getting another roll of gauge wire to finish my BM hangers. 2 left!
What are you ladies working on/taking care of right now? What are your major things left?

Re: Favors, Invitations, and Centerpieces 99% done!
Just FYI don't worry about the extra stamps. the only class of mail that is increasing is the regular 1 ounce stamps from .44 to .45, the higher classes, like .64 are staying the same!
I have spent a lot of time at the post office lately trying to get my invites down to an ounce.. mine weighed in at 1.1 until I cut the back of the response card and now they come in at 1 ounce even! yayyy!!!!
haha lotsa work but I dont see a point in paying and extra 20 cents a pop for a useless flap of paper! especially 150 of them!
